As your home buying advocate, I take my role very seriously. I put myself in your shoes, vicariously purchasing a home as though it were my own. That means I am a steadfast steward of your money and bottom line. It does not matter how much you’re spending, you have worked hard for each dollar, and you need to be able to make the best buying decisions based on your wants, needs and financial ability. I’m here to communicate, educate and guide you through the processes.
My approach is no-nonsense. We need to look realistically at the market, the expectations of the sellers, what’s taking place in the ‘current’ market, and do what we can to move forward using a win-win strategy.
Being a problem-solver by nature and as someone who is also analytical, I tend to identify and solve potential problems even before a solution is needed. If a potential problem never materializes (and often they don’t), great!, but you can rest assured that I may have already determined a solution if one does arise. It is my job to anticipate problems, provide solutions and take care of YOU!
As you can imagine, because I anticipate problems, that also makes me a good negotiator. For example, if the roof shows telltale signs of age, damage or even moss, I am not going to just let that go. I’ll work with the listing agent to find more details about the roof, as a roof can be used as a negotiating tool, and then provide you with all of your options so you can make an informed decision. The last thing I want is for you to have to drop $24K on a new roof in a year because I was afraid to bring up the challenges that I saw. That is NOT how I operate my business.
